The anger that never quite gets sent — the drafted messages, the deleted paragraphs, the voice notes you recorded and deleted three times. Unspoken angryphone is the internal rage-texting session that the other person never sees but that absolutely happened. Sometimes it's self-restraint. Sometimes it's fear. Either way the anger is real, the messages were composed, and somewhere in your drafts folder the evidence may still exist. The unsent text that you can feel in a conversation.

The slow-burn, subtly simmering version of angrify that the person might not even fully admit to themselves. Low key angrify is what happens when you tell yourself you're fine but keep bringing the thing up in conversation. It's the background hum of irritation that colors your whole afternoon without you ever officially losing it. More common than peak angrify but arguably harder to address because nobody, including the angrified person, wants to acknowledge it.

Unspoken ragebait is the provocation embedded in an interaction or piece of content that nobody explicitly names but everyone can feel — the inflammatory implication lurking beneath the surface of something technically inoffensive. It's content that doesn't overtly say the inflammatory thing but structures its argument, selects its framing, or chooses its examples in ways that predictably trigger angry responses, while maintaining plausible deniability. Calling it unspoken ragebait names the mechanic without giving the creator a target to respond to.
