A gear or equipment setup that represents the absolute highest expression of a particular style, era, or subculture — the point at which kit cannot get more iconic within its own context. The peak kit of a 90s football casual looks completely different from the peak kit of a 2020s FPS streamer, but both achieve the same status: immediately recognisable, widely referenced, and nearly impossible to improve upon without losing the plot.
