Killing an opponent in a single hit. Common in FPS and ARPG streams. Often used as a verb ('I'll one-shot him') or noun ('that was a one-shot'). In Twitch chat, 'one-shot' is also extended metaphorically: a perfectly delivered punchline, a clip that destroys someone's argument, etc.
