Liverpool slang abbreviation for the Cast Iron Shore (locally 'Cazzy'), a stretch of the River Mersey's industrial waterfront near Dingle. The area takes its name from the iron slag waste once deposited there. It has been reclaimed as a community beach and arts space, and remains a marker of Scouse local identity.
